Once, waking up in the morning, I wanted to be sad because I became a pensioner. After carefully looking around, I realized that life had played for me with new colors. I am alive, almost healthy, the child has grown up, and I have time to be surprised again by the world around me.
I fell in love with traveling while working in Aeroflot Airlines. I was not frightened by long flights and travels, because there, beyond the horizon, I was always expected by something new and interesting.
Now, having accumulated a certain life experience and a lot of photos, I want to tell people (who for various reasons can not travel) the beauty and history of the places where I was.
The world around is amazing and unpredictable! Using the Internet and new technologies allows you to quickly get any information about all the attractions of the world.
But how much more interesting to see everything with my own eyes and to touch the beautiful with my soul, and even more pleasant to tell friends about it, who were just too lazy to leave the house.
Now I will tell you about the places that most impressed me on my trip to Europe.
Journey to Bastei
Journey to Bastei happened by chance, just one fine day off there were no fresh ideas where to go. The stone bridge over the abyss is clearly visible from the train and we just got off at the next stop, sail across the ferry boat to the Elbe and found ourselves in a magical forest. It was so quiet there that the crash of a branch broken by the breeze seemed like thunder. There were almost no birds, only occasionally а owl hoot. The leaves rustled under their feet. In such a forest, the soul rests.
And of course, the stone bridge is infinitely surprising, it is difficult to imagine how much labor was spent on its construction (length 76 wide 40m). From the rocks, the Königstein fortress is clearly visible, which has never been taken and has experienced many interesting historical events.
We walked 20 km along the Elbe bank, it turned out that with a good company this is easy. In the evening, we arrived in Dresden, tired but satisfied.
And this city is unique in its history and architecture, it was almost destroyed in the war, but restored by patient and pedantic Germans. The Old Masters Gallery was most impressed - the Sistine Madonna was 30 minutes away!
Pellworm
Island is a German island that belongs to the North Frisian Islands in the North Sea. Only 37.4 km2, the connected to the mainland only by ferry which is also an exciting journey. Sea seals live in local waters and the whole nature of the island surprises with serene virginity.
Once on the island there were many people and since that time has remained a wonderful church Pellworm. On the island, life flows according to its own laws and depends on the tides, there is no urban fuss and noise.
Italian holidays
Italian holidays were unusual in essence. Italy is a wonderful country - it pleases and surprises everything around: food, culture, architecture, language.
Two weeks spent in Bologna were amazing, school at the University of Bologna was very friendly and professional teachers, the ability to quickly get to neighboring cities and look at the ancient history with my own eyes. The mosaics of Ravenna and Sienna cannot be described or compared, they are unique.
