Is there anywhere to actually get help from Google?

Google Maps is becoming absolutely frustrating, with basically no way to interact with Google or find out the answers to any questions. And maybe I’m just not very bright, but the whole Local Guides page seems very cumbersome too. I’m about to give up on the whole thing as just a bad job, because my last 15 reviews apparently have gone straight to the dumpster, since they don’t show up. Yes, I check from incognito mode. So, I decided to just leave ratings, but 10 ratings in a row have been blocked, too! Apparently I’m banned from even leaving a rating? Is there anyone else out there with the same problem? Actually, that’s rhetorical. Is there anyone out there who has any viable information on how Google works? I’m not even sure if this is the place to ask, but Google gives you almost no alternatives to get help.

I just read some of your remaining reviews and noticed some issues that possibly could explain why the AI spam filter put your profile under special watch.

This is not a review. You forgot to share your opinion.

Generally your reviews are very long. This increases the risk of getting caught by the spam filter. It looks for rude words amongst other things.

Your review of Old Town Tequila Factory is well written and funny, but it is also more about you than the restaurant.

Currently, your issue might not be your fault. Please read Known issue: Unpublished reviews and photos on Google Maps. And, make a reply to request your account also be investigated if you have not already done so.

Hi @ScroogeOpus Googlers read this forum. They may not respond but they definitely read it. You can get help here on Connect and in the Maps Support Community.

Looking through your profile, you seem to experience a lot of similar places e.g. Mexican restaurants all on the same day and you leave very long detailed reviews. Are you reviewing them after your trip all on the same day by any chance?
