I also love to search for the “ever-elusive perfect cocktail” and share my findings on google maps. It is a personal quest I intend to conclude🙂
What I find fascinating about cocktails are the exotic colours and the mode of presentation. There is nothing ordinary about a cocktail, it can actually be used to teach a class on diversity - different drinks combined to produce a magnificent masterpiece of perfection!
I will share examples of different cocktails had in different countries.
The cocktail I ordered in Accra was served in a very attractive emptied-out coconut shell and the colour was electric blue.
The cocktail I ordered in Quebec was served in a glass with a crooked stem, the colour was orange and it had a plum cherry pierced with a cocktail stick on top.
The cocktail I ordered in Edinburgh was served in a very narrow glass, the colour was pink and there was a twig of mint leaf in the drink.
Last, but definitely not least, the cocktail I ordered in Nigeria was served in a long glass with a slice of orange. It was a mixture of two colours, yellow and orange.
The taste of the cocktails mentioned above were definitely heavenly, but do I know the perfect cocktail now? Not yet!
