Is Reviewing Every Single Day Is The Reason Why?

Hello Local Guides!

Hope everyone is have an amazing day/night…

Since every single one of us is having the review problem (not being publicly), should we stop reviewing in a daily base? because when ever i travel i like to review the places that i go to… and sometimes i just post the pictures and when where i get back home i review the places on the map in couple hours, so I guess this is the reason why my reviews are not public anymore… so what happed is already happed. Now i just wanna know if i start reviewing once a day will that be fine? or should i do it once a week?

From now on will will start having a long review for a single place, instead of have 10 short reviews that might not be helpful and i hope everything gets back to normal.

Take care guys

Hello, @Mubrk , how many reviews did you posted in Maps till now? No one of them is visible, but the total count of your posted reviews is 3, so I am not sure to understand if your question about “writing reviews on daily basis” or “writing a long reviews instead of 10 shorts” is based on your own experience or not.

The best thing to do is:

  • Write reviews of places you have recent personal experience with. If you have experience with 10 Places you will write 10 reviews, if you have experience with one you will write about that. What does “1 long review instead of 10 short” mean?
  • Write reviews following the Maps User Contributed Content Policy

As you can read in Flag and fix inappropriate content "If a review you wrote has been flagged and removed, you can fix it yourself. Edit your review to follow Google review policies — for example, you might remove a phone number or URL from the review. Your review will be automatically republished.

Google uses automated spam detection measures to remove reviews that are probably spam. Although legitimate reviews are sometimes inappropriately removed, these spam prevention measures help improve people’s experiences on Google by ensuring that the reviews they see are authentic, relevant, and useful."

I don’t think it’s about the number of reviews, it’s the quality of that review and photo. Bogus places and pics are going down like a ship so to speak. Hopefully you find your problem.
