I just started local guides and I had a negative review for one company that is probably paying for fake 5 star reviews. Even one review, that is now deleted, was from a reviewer who, in the review had said to the effect that he was messaged by a fake company to help this company “fix” their online presence. I’m guessing by leaving fake positive reviews and flagging negative ones, in the review he also said to contact him if you had been scammed by this company, I would like to contact him for evidence but I’m pretty sure you can’t contact the reviewers. This company’s “fixers” have gotten at least a dozen negative reviews removed some were only up for 2 days and posted maybe 40, suspicious to people who know these companies, 5 star reviews, some from local guides. I had flagged these reviews and I’m wondering if doing this has gotten my account flagged or somehow monitored, my negative review was not public after a week of reposting and another negative review from a company that actually frauded me, I had edited to remove a possible violation, was not posted either.
Any help on this or contacting the other reviewer for evidence would be very helpful. Thank you
That is not how it works. Computers monitor your contributions and any suspicious activity can lower your trust score.
I can confirm from your public profile that you have added 3 reviews and only 1 of them are public.
Google has automatic filters that hide your reviews so only you can see them. This can happen when some of your reviews violate the guidelines, including: Prohibited and Restricted Content Format Specific Criteria (See under Text Reviews and Captions)
