I am a honest reviewer and try to be unbiased when it comes to my reviews. more than 95% of my reviews are positive. but there are some places that were night mare to me. like this one: Carla spa, Pengosekan, Ubud, Bali.

so , i gave a honest 1 star review to this place as i had the worst possible experience for a lot of money during my recent visit to Bali. I wrote a review and it was deleted. luckily, i had the copy of my review and added an extra edit now.
If shop /store owners can delete our reviews at their own will, will people ever be able to know the real experience one can have at this place?
Need suggestions on how not to let the owner delete my review.

Thanks for the link. But, it seems like the store owner is removing the review deliberately. on a hindsight, i feel they have been doing it quite rigorously based on the glowing reviews this place has. I find just 5-10 critical reviews only. I reviewed this place yesterday. and today it disappeared. I did not receive any email from google stating that i didn’t follow the local guide policy as such. I was not flagged. Been doing this for years now. But, this is my first encounter with a shop that deletes reviews.
Hi @Tejasri … As @AbdullahAM mentioned above, if there is a clear indication that the policies of Google review is violated, Google may take down the reviews.
More over, as fas as I know, Google Business owners cannot delete the review but they can flag the reviews which are suspected to violate Google Review policies or are deemed inappropriate. There is a special link for that…
Hi @Tejasri @indahnuria is right that a business owner can’t delete a customers review, only can report by Flag it. After flag a review by the business owner then Google review it through the Google’s review policies, if any content of the review does not follow the Google’s review policy then Google delete it.
