Hit the Community tab at the top and make a post. You need to attach or link to some documentation supporting the change you are proposing. And you need to be super previse on what reviews and photos actually belongs to the highjacked pin and which belong to the highjacker.
Keep in mind it is volunteers you meet at the Maps support forum. You need to make it easy for them to understand and escalate such issues to Google staff.
Just pointing out problems might not be sufficient. Think about how much work you are asking for other volunteers and staff to do. Your local knowledge might enable you to easily identify what needs to be done. It could be something along these lines:
All photos and reviews add prior to this date belongs to x and all after this date all belongs to Y.
You need to be that detailed to successfully get help in the support forum. Stolen (highjacked) pins is not an issue related to the Local Guides Program. So please use the Maps support forum.
I also suggest that you report only one highjacked pin per post you make in the Maps Support Forum. And please learn from posting about one highjacking before proceeding to the next. This way you can learn from the Product Experts so you can provide the needed details correctly in the following posts.
I’d create a post on Google Maps Community Support Forum Here
Mr. Kien comments: “I have forwarded the problem to the engineering team, hope they understand the problem because the data merge is a bit complicated. If you have anything, please contact the car showroom to see how.” => So i’m waiting for feedback from engineering team!
Another side i’m learning & update about this case at this Google site. This site i’d been writing in Vietnamese, looking for more info, use it to inform to whom maybe concern about this problem. After finish i will translate to English and share with community!
And about 2 points:
" All photos and reviews add prior to this date belongs to x and all after this date all belongs to Y. You need to be that detailed to successfully get help in the support forum." => I’ll look at this.
Stolen (highjacked) pins is not an issue related to the Local Guides Program => Thanks for remind me, just because i’m an local guide, and we are the Biggest Local Guides Community so maybe in another country will have this issue, so i can ask & learn from here!
Temples, shrines, places of spiritual worship… or famous tourist attractions, although legally governed by the government or an organization. But these organizations doesn’t care about online activities like their POIs, so these locations don’t float and become vulnerable targets then these POIs being stolen (highjacked). How can we stop this?
