Went to Burger King a couple of weeks ago and ordered a cheeseburger bundle for my Goddaughter. Ended up waiting in line for nearly 20 minutes (hearing countless apologies for the wait) while listening to the tunes from the radio. and wondering if indeed I was going to pull off, but they had already taken my $$$ so I decided to wait it on out. Well, needless to say, my bundle only came with 1 cheeseburger and by now the fries were dead cold…(like rubber). I’m a rather easy going bigger guy that pretty much makes the best out of circumstance so I turned around, went back to simply get what I paid for and drop my Goddaughter off. Trust me, her mom is the "turn-all-the-way up type for no reason. I dare not send her in there. Went back in to Burger King on highway 85 in Riverdale (right across the street, adjacent to KFC and Cookout…I want yall readers to know where “NOT” to go), only to be encountered by a female manager with gold fronts staring me down with an oppressive look. I had just finished working out and the food wasn’t even for me…I brought business to them, could’ve easily got the norm…(happy-meal from McDonald’s for $2.99 and called it a wrap. So I first called over the young lady who took my order, a familiar face, I get bundles from time to time on my cheat days, she knows me. Simply explained what I ordered and what was in my bag…"1 cheeseburger "…Ms. Gangsta Manager, “do U have a receipt”…yeah I left it in the car but she took my order. MGM, “I need to see the receipt”…Okay, no problem!! Walked back outside, got the receipt came back in the store and gave it to MGM. By now I’m a lil disturbed but already prepared to leave without the cheeseburger because I was NOT going to argue with nobody about no GD cheeseburger. I’m too big for that and didn’t want to end up on worldstar…lol. Well Ms. Gangsta Manager is feeling herself and denies me what I paid for, insulting me by telling me she rung my order up wrong. I replied ma’am I get this all the time 1’ cheeseburger a fry and a drink does not cost no $4 and however many cents, are u going to give me my cheeseburger or not!!! She balks, and I’m a lil amazed at the level of ignorance so I responded, you all make at least a thousand cheeseburgers a day, what is so wrong with giving me my cheeseburger that I have already paid for??? U admitted yourself the order was rung up wrong (which it wasn’t)…so do your job, give me what I paid for so I can go. She refused, I got loud and here come the dread behind the register on some little boy grown/man tip. “Mannnn U don’t have to yell”…so I spoke to him, bruh U’re right, but I do want what I paid for…“well I’ll beat yo donkey”…I look at buddy and said whatever man…next thing I know…he’s heading towards me snatching off his hair net. I’m from the old school living in a new school era. I met him at the door…waiting for him to step 1 foot out of the kitchen and onto the floor. It was truly going to be a quickie. By this time Ms. GANGSTA MANAGER has called the cops and standing there with her hands on her hips (nice hips too)…which was my cue. It was time for me to get the lleh on…not for no GD cheeseburger. Not too mention what’s happening these days to my broskies when we encounter the police…it just wasn’t worth. (Riverdale police pretty cool though I will say that…police throughout metropolitan Atlanta don’t be tripping like some of those small town police forces. Keep up the good work gentlemen). Til this very day I will never step foot into that burger king on highway 85 again. I’d also like to apologize to my lil homie in there working hard trying to be a man. Glad you are a fearless young man I was proud of U for standing up for your manager but if they would’ve let U come out that door I was going to F-5 U like Brock Lesnar. Seriously though, all this could’ve been avoided and my lil mama could’ve got her cheeseburger and it would’ve been a perfect world but NOOOOOOO, Ms. Gangsta Manager had to flex her muscle in front of burger king employees. Sad state we are in these days. We should not treat each other like that and ego’s should be left at home when U come to work. SIMPLE AS THAT…IS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR??? I just came to get a cheeseburger bundle and see my lil mama smile…ended up almost having to fight and go to jail…c’mon mannnn!!!
