Ireland - March 5th - March 24th

Hi ALL!
My wife and I will be arriving in Dublin Ireland on March 5th and departing on March 24th.
We will spend time in Dublin, Galway, Cork, Kilrush and other places.

On our last trip, 2017, was for 7 days, and I took loads of photos.
Any suggestions appreciated.

The only time I’ve spent in ROI is in Dublin, however, I used to live in Lisburn North of the border. Having spent more time here there are a few places that I can recommend.

Bushmills Distillery is the other side of Irish whiskey, and the distillery tour is certainly worth visiting. From Bushmills, there is also a heritage railway that goes from the town to Giants Causeway. This is Northern Ireland’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a beach consisting of vertical basalt columns formed from eruptions millions of years ago. On a clear day, you can also see Scotland across the Sea.

Back in Belfast, there is also the Titanic Museum near the docks which is dedicated to the doomed Transatlantic crossing in 1912. Nearby are also the Samson & Goliath Cranes (140m tall shipbuilding cranes) which are a very famous part of the skyline.

Hopefully, these give you some inspiration for what you can see and do in the North.
