Do we need to introduce ourselves, again and again, every year if we have already introduced ourselves once before??
The introduction post and comments thereafter is so long to follow and to search. There must have been a better way to categorize the introduction section.

As explained by the moderators, there is no need to introduce yourself in every month.
However, there is a way to set up a perpetual introduction.
Update your personal information through the following link
https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:personal-info
Then describe yourself.
That way anybody accessing your profile page will get a quick introduction of you.
Further, I appreciate your concern about searches. I suggest you go through this article which explains how
to search something on Connect in an effective way.

Thus through that search using keyword “Introduce yourself” and then further narrowing down the search by author suresh1930, I could find that you included your introduction in the thread of April 2018.

Interesting question 
As @Petra_M wrote, there is no need to introduce yourself every single month. These posts are for the new members and many other LGs like to introduce themselves and interact with the new ones. It’s a way to get closer to each other.
Another wasy to socialicate is making comments in other Local Guides posts .
