Hey, Local Guides
I’m Rasul, local guide from in Istanbul. I’ve been living in Istanbul for 5 years now (studying) and I have reviewed, edited, reported many places and submitted dozens of photos. I have also contributed to many other places in different cities and countries: US, Georgia, Russia, Turkmenistan. I strongly believe in community generated information, especially when it comes to maps and that is why I started contributing 5 years ago. It is such a tremendous task to map out the whole surface of a planet and that is why Local Guides are such a big help in achieving that.
I want to end my introductory message with a suggestion to meet-up in Istanbul. I haven’t heard, have never attended any Google Maps Local Guides event in Istanbul yet. Let’s get to know each other, have coffee somewhere.
