This time, I’ll introduce my interesting activity that I’m currently working on here, Local Guides Connect.
What is #Monthlytopic?
In the Local Guides Connect, we are able to post beautiful photos, tasty foods, meet-up information, and useful tips and so forth, and communicate with Local Guides all over the world. But I guess there are also some people who are thinking “I don’t know what should I post” or “I have not a chance to post or make a comment” for now. I had thought that how I’m able to motivate them. And I came up with this proposal.
I have started #Monthlytopic from June 2019 with “Let’s join in the Monthly Topic Post”. The purpose of this proposal is providing a clue or an opportunity to start posting easily to Local Guides Connect. This small clue not only helps to start posting but it will also motivate our communications via the common topic. Actually, there are some regular Local Guides of #Monthlytopic and they join constantly. They often enjoy communicating in their comments as well.
What are #Monthlytopic interesting points?
#Monthlytopic will be a good practice to learn a way to utilize Local Guides Connect. A simple and short post that I recommended as a post for this proposal is suited for beginners. I’m looking forward to reading such posts. Of course, detailed posts are also great! In #Monthlytopic, both of them are able to be enjoyed together through the same topic.
Not only that, I like the below points of #Monthlytopic.
1. The topic gives me a surprise
Basically the people prefer to go to their own favorite places but sometimes I guess going to a place that was proposed by someone or followed the common theme is also fun. And the experience gives us a surprise sometimes.
A shop that I visited for introducing a craft in my region was very unique. The post is here.
2. I am able to rediscover something that I had missed out on
I was not interested in a local snack, Nanbu Senbei, too much but I visited a shop for writing a #Monthlytopic recently. That was a very interesting experience. And now, I like it. The post is here.
3. I am able to know the difference through a common topic
On a common topic, everyone posts unique characteristic posts. It’s so interesting and I was able to know various thoughts and cultures from their posts. For understanding it, I recommend you to read the posts from here. I think you can enjoy the differences.
4. I got to know some Local Guides through this proposal
As mentioned above, there are some regular Local Guides of #Monthlytopic. I’m really happy to see them who are very passionate and kind Local Guides here through this proposal. Their posts are amazing. Check them out and I hope you will also get to know them soon.
