I’m Jeroen and I live in the Netherlands. A couple of years ago, after travelling through Europe, I started sharing my experiences on Google Maps. I’ve always been a bit of an adventurous traveller and like to see where the road takes me. I know other people sometimes prefer a different style of travelling, where they want to know more about what they can expect on their destination. This is where in my opinion we as local guides can help. And this has made me more and more enthusiastic about the local guides platform. Being able to share these wonderful experiences, with reviews, photos, information about accessibility and a whole lot more. I’m happy to see the local guides platform is still expanding and offering new features. Based on the number of views and likes on my content and what I saw and heard from fellow local guides, I think we are making a difference for these people. I hope to be sharing a lot more!
