Introducing me & my favorite place so far!

Hi guys!

As my first post I would like to introduce myself before writing about one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been.

My name is Ingrid from Peru, I discovered this a couple of years ago when I started traveling, it has helped me so much getting to know places that are not usually on the typical “what to do list”. Its amazing how many special places you can find on the recomendations of people that had been there or live there. Locals know the best places to drink, to eat, sightseeing and just enjoy the moment. I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some countries and enjoyed the stay until the last minute, thats why I also try to help by posting pictures or contributions about everywhere I go. Well, thats pretty much the introduction, now lets get to the point!.

Last year I made this amazing trip with 3 of my university friends, we found a great plane ticket deal to South Africa! It was a two week trip, we went to Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Knysna, Bloukrans Bridge, Kruger and of course Johannesburg. For me, the most special was the safari of course (although the wine taste was awesome too), but to been able to see & feel how happy and free animals are in their own enviroment, just made this trip so special and changed my mind a little, Even though Kruger is the biggesst and most popular park for safaris, I personally recommend that you also visit Mjejane river lodge, its smaller but because of that you can see animals really close!

Here are some of my favorite pictures of that trip! South Africa really has it all, you should make it one of your bucket list!

Before I forget, this winery taste day that we did, was not by a tour or agency, one of the taxi drivers we met, offer to do the tour for us, at our own time and preferencess. I can tell you that it was the best decision, we got to go to 5 places, enjoy wine, food and great views, it was waaaaay cheaper than any tour. This is why locals can make your trip amazing!

Come join me and post about your favorite trip so far! Love to read about it!
