I am new to the World of Local Guides. Hence, I want to connect with everyone and introduce myself.
1. Name: I am Tahmidul Haq. Everyone can call be, Tahmid.

Also known as the land of tigers 
3. What I love about being a Local Guide: I love traveling and whenever I travel to a new city, I always try to find out information about the places to visit from Google Maps. Reviews and comments from Local Guides have always helped me to explore new places and I want to contibute in the same way for others. I feel inspired when people find my reveiws helpful when traveling to a new place. 
4. My favorite thing to explore: Most of them are related to traveling and food. I love to walk and look around new cities in order to find out a new sightseeing spot or a new restaurent with great food that’s not on map yet.
5. Fun fact about me: I love to collect fridge magnets from the places I have visited as souvenir. In addition, I also send postcards from my city to my friends living elsewhere.

Professionally, I am a doctor. For the past 10 years, I have been contributing to Google Maps purely out of passion. Whenever I visit a new place, I capture photos or videos and upload them to the map. I frequently write reviews of places I visit, answer questions, and add new locations. While everything may not always be perfect, I strive to do my best.

Beyond mapping, I’m an avid long-distance runner 
with several ultra-marathons under my belt, including my most recent 50km runs in Shamsher Nagar and Sylhet to Tamabil Ultra Run. Running not only keeps me fit but also inspires me to explore new destinations, which I’m always eager to share with the world.

Totally enjoyed your introduction. I live in Ocala, Florida and enjoy traveling and taking pictures and videos to post. Right now I’m in Perú. It’s impressive and exciting. I will be posting pictures and videos soon.
I visited El Gran Molino. A beautiful bakery that was never empty during the 2 hours I was there. Incredible! I purchased 15 dulces or pastries and had a salad that was big enough for 3 people. See you soon.

What I love about being a Local Guide: My journey as a local guide started a few years ago. One day, I was browsing Facebook in the afternoon when I suddenly saw the “Bangladesh Local Guide” Facebook page. Seeing the Facebook page increased my enthusiasm. At that time, I was completely new, I didn’t know much about “Local Guide”. Then my enthusiasm increased even more to learn about “Local Guide”. I discussed about Local Guide with my friend @hizburrahmanofficial and also regularly visited the “Bangladesh Local Guide” Facebook Group. My friend explained me well about Local Guide. My enthusiasm increased even more. That’s when I came across the posts written by @MahabubMunna Bhai. Since then, I have been reading the posts regularly and I have learned more by seeing the posts. I am learning something new every day from everyone on Local Guide and Local Guide Connect Forum. Thank you all so much. I am still in Label 08. If I hadn’t joined the “Bangladesh Local Guide” group, I would not have known about Connect Forum.

My favorite thing to explore: I like to travel. My two friends and I often go to different places. When we travel, we learn about the place, have adventures and gain new experiences.
