3. What I love about being a Local Guide: Being a Local Guide is a lifestyle. To me, all Local Guides around the world are people who really love helping others. I enjoy the time I spend writing reviews on Google Maps, because I realize that someone somewhere may need this information.
4. My favorite thing to explore: I like to explore nature. Every summer, my family and I travel around Bulgaria with our caravan. For the past four years, we’ve explored more than ten small villages and a lot more other places in the mountains.
5. Fun Fact about me: I am addicted to my TV :). The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning or when I come back home at the end of the day is to turn on the TV. I like watching funny movies like You Don’t Mess with the Zohan and series such as Game of Thrones.
Before I visit any place I have to know people’s opinions about it. In every trip I spread my mind about the places I visited, especially the archaeological sites because I love everything that is historical, and how to reach it by means of transportation.
What motivates me is the number of people who read what I write .
My name is Anton Widyanto, currently I am an associate professor at Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry, Banda Aceh, Aceh, Indonesia.I am happy to be a local guide simply because I love to help others. Helping others is about caring and inspiring, because you will give and spread benefits regardless religions, nations, languages, etc.
Mostly, I like to share and review coffee shops (Warung Kopi) and mosques (masjid) particularly in Aceh, Indonesia. Why? Because masjid and warung kopi are two things that cannot be separated when you are talking about Aceh people. You will find them colored their daily lives.

In the year two thousand and thirteen, I attended a TEDtalks that sensitized me to having renewed attitudes.
In that event, I realized that there is a blissful restlessness that moves us toward a global consciousness, that all of us, children of that biosphere, are connected.
Whenever I need to know a place better, have information and tips on where to go, what to do, my main resource is to search on Google.
Ahhhhhhhh, how good to find detailed information .
So I think: if it does me so well, why not contribute to others who also need similar information?
Being part of a global community of explorers, being a Local Guide on Google Maps, is an attitude that renews me. It renews my sense that I am contributing to a better world, where more information on places may be available, helping other people in their issues.

I like to share places interesting for job, In GUAYAQUIL is different in food and places for visit the tourist . so is more easy to meet with the google maps Is fun, encounters with other nationalities, meet and share with others for is sometimes difficult to find and know in my country the best dessert for me is in the terrazas local in via samborondon. the shopping mall have stores differents because i need to know the banks, supermarket, clothes, perfums, food and more. I love Mexican food in the Doña de lagos plaza.

Begginnig new year gives us a good opportunity to continue the tradition to introduce ourselves at the beginning of every month. But I’d like to add a goal that we have for this year 2020 , and optional -a fun one - make predictions for this decade, then years later look back and see what we wrote.
What I love about being a local guide: I love having such a good, international, and supportive community that shares similar interests to mine. People who are passionate and very diverse and come together with similar goals and the opportunity to get to know everybody and their stories.
My favorite thing to explore: if I had to choose I’d choose one of the two churches and shopping centers. Churches because I often like the architecture and you can get really good pictures. And shopping centers because it allows me to really look, in depth, and not just walk by, I start paying more attention and find places I had never seen before in a place I often go by. Sometimes you can get really nice photos. Something else I find fun (Bonus) is taking pictures of the front of a school, they often need a picture.
Fun fact about me: I like to spend time looking at the map and getting to know other countries, it’s been helpful because sometimes I’ve met people and they like when I know about their home land. I am originally from Venezuela and I like it too when people know about my country.
My goal for the year 2020: This year I’d love to achieve level 9. Post pictures of a new city, and obtain the Google Street view badge, and maybe some socks! ? ???
Predictions for the decade: I think there might come a clothing style that might be really different. Video games will officially be a recognized sport, and VR will take a bigger part in our lives.
