2. Location: Playa del Carmen, Mexico

3. What I love about being a Local Guide: Helping people through my authentic and objective reviews about the service and experiences I have during my travels around the world. I’ve been traveling mostly around Mexico and Europe (last year I did a roadtrip from Sweden to Portugal).

4. My favorite thing to explore: Historical sites — the more history a place has, the better.

5. Fun fact about me: I love all sports and learning songs in different languages to play on my guitar.

As a woman@localGuides, I have spent the last 6 plus years contributing to the #GoogleMaps from my travels across the #USA, #Caribbean and #Europe. My latest cruise adventure for 21 days spanned from Spain to a lot of Greek Isles and even Turkey.
I have 45,000 photos in my iphone to share from my trips and once all are posted I want to know how I rank in terms of my #contributions to others in the world. I expect to hit my goal of posting the photos from #Europe and reaching level 10 Local Guide status in the next two weeks. Stay tuned as I will celebrate with you once I make this a reality. My photos have more than 189 million views and my reviews of businesses over 484,000 views. I would like to know how that compares to others in this community and if that’s common or a more unique result of contributing more than 15,000 photos to the Google Maps.

3.What I love about being a Local Guide: I love the idea that my visit matters, as I will provide the most objective review possible, always considering cleanliness, quality, service, and, of course, attitude. I love helping customers who look for reviews before going somewhere, saving them time and money if the place is bad. I also like helping the establishment grow if it’s good or deserves recognition.

Having visited many historical sites around the world myself, I can so relate to your words “every stone, relic, symbol has a meaning and a connection to something else”.
