Hey Everyone, my name is Amanda from Indonesia but I live in The Netherlands.
this is nothing to do about local guide or travel or photography but more like culture.
and also this is will be very helpful for my assignment.
to be honest, I’m wondering why do people don’t say thank you anymore?
or please or sorry?
I met so many travellers in Amsterdam and when they asking me about some places or food? most of them never say Thank you to me.
I would like to know more about culture from all around the world its will be very nice to know.
I was raised in mix culture, so my mom is Indonesia my dad is Chinese.
my grandmother’s mom is Dutch
most of my cousin married with Dutch and German people.
but my parents always told me to say Thank You, Please and Sorry.
and I do noticed that in some culture you don’t have to say Thank You?
maybe some of you can share your story.
thank you everyone, have a nice Monday.

I’m Hari from Chennai, India. One can find all kinds of people here. There are people who greet us and thank us and there are those who don’t bat an eye. Once I was carrying my luggage in hot sun to college after returning a tiresome journey, was offered a lift by a by-passer. Though a tiny gesture , I felt moved.

I guess a lot of people need to learn etiquette.

Hai @claudiaamanda
I am Radja from Indonesia who live in Jakarta. Senang bertemu di connect. Kita satu grup juga di ILG. Kalau menurut pengalaman saya, Justru etika itu saya banyak belajar ketika kuliah di perhotelan, 3 magic word… Excuse/Sorry, Please and Thank You. Bahkan justru orang2 diluar bule kadang lupa menerapkannya. Itu pengalamanku ya. Semoga bermanfaat.
