I started my journey from New road today and I thought of writing something on street foods from Kathmandu. As New road is one of the most crowded place in the Kathmandu; It is famous for malls, shops, and it is also Busiest location for both banking and offices. It is mostly crowded and always noisy. New road is also famous for its street food. Due to the new law, the streets vendor is now a days less compared to what it was a couple of year ago but we can still find some famous vendors in little alleyways here. We can find Indian inspired foods such as chat, panipuri, papri chat, chola bhatura and many other Indian foods here. We can also find Tibetian inspired food such as Laphing, momos (dumpling) and many more. Here are some of the food I tried today.
