Local Guides and interested participants are invited to this photowalk event which will take place on International Drive in Orlando, FL. We will meet up out in front of WonderWorks and walk down the sidewalk of International Drive all the way to the “Orlando Eye / Ferris Wheel”. From there we will cross the street and head back toward WonderWorks. I think together we can add quite a few places (new places are being built almost every day it seems) and make edits to existing places. Everyone should bring their phone, battery pack (if needed) and something to drink. We will probably grab lunch somewhere in the area after we get back to WonderWorks, maybe Miller’s Ale House (they have a nice large patio area we can all sit at and discuss our walk). Wish I was going to be in town that weekend for it. I plenty of idrive photos. The best pics came from Pointe orlando. I wouldve loved to get to know the local guides of the area. Best of luck!
If I was in town I would have gone to it. Hosting meetups are hard because there are no enough active members in many local communities yet. But don’t get discouraged! You can still do it, many often end up solo during their own attempts at it, but they still took pictures and tagged locations @TommyBayshore
@TommyBayshore Sorry your event had to be cancelled. I suggest to make sure to cross post on the Google+ Orlando Community. There are a lot of people there who just have not moved over to Connect yet for many reasons (biggest I hear when I ask is G+ emails everything in the community and Connect does not) so they don’t see anything here.
Never done this as i just discovered guides connect and searched for Orlando and was surprised how almost no meet-ups were done in this area and the ones that actually are done like your’s get no interest???
Anyhow have a Samsung Gear 360 in hand and a Galaxy S7 Edge to take pics with. I Drive is crazy on Saturday but i guess a construction vest in bright colors will do the trick? Probably not , all people driving down iDrive are looking everywhere except the road lol

It was about 2 days prior to the walk and no one had signed up so i cancelled it, didnt want to but i did. If folks are interested i can create another, it would be a great walk with lots of shots to be taken.
