@SDatta
Thank you for sharing this nice post about your local Book Fair.
When working in the public festival and event industry, the first time I heard about a book festival I had a hard time imagining it. Coming from a theatre background, I initially had a hard time imagining how you can âentertainâ people with books.
I quickly learned that book festivals or fairs can, in fact, be very exciting and I love the fact that they celebrate reading. With all the special effects in movies or on the stage these days, I really appreciate the art of language dragging us in a story and engaging with our (way more imaginative) thoughts.
On a completely different note, I am surprised the see the Disney characters being used as decoration at one of the eventâs entrance gates. I wonder if the local organizers had permission from Disney to use these images. I realize that you probably donât know the answer to that question, so please ignore it.
Good to read about a book fair for sometime now topic like this are far in between. It is usually interesting to go book fair gathering .The interest is always there to see different categories of books in bright colours . Science & technology is my favourite field. It is so good that the book fair has international touch. I could see stand from Russia.@SDatta thanks for posting.
