One interesting thing I’ve done as a local guide was when I saw a YouTube video about the Dosa man and his vegetarian cart that serves delicious Dosa (Indian snack). It looked delicious and I wanted to try it. I knew the hours he was open wouldn’t work with my full time 9-5 schedule but I was determined to catch him. I was walking through West 4 area (downtown NYC) and I saw him packing up his cart. I was so disappointed that I couldn’t catch him but he was so nice and took a picture with me and my husband. He offered to let us skip the line next time new come just to try his Dosa. I felt so elated that despite his dosa being in high demand and him being featured on Munchies he was so humble in person and kind.
