Interesting effect in timeline (bug?) when a business you've visited moves

I was looking at my timeline to try and help a Local Guide with a query and as a side effect I noticed I had a contribution in Brisbane. I’ve certainly been to Brisbane but not since 2004. Checking it out, the visit was for a business that I went to in Melbourne that has moved to Brisbane. I know the guy, quite a talented band photographer who has his business studio at home for shoots. I would have expected timeline to show me where the business was when I visited it rather than this version. I do love that it thinks I took 41 minutes by car to get from Emerald in Victoria to Brisbane in Queensland then 46 minutes on the way home. The shortest route is the one I’ve used before called the Newell Highway is nearly 1700km so to make that distance in 41 minutes I would have had to drive at nearly twice the speed of sound. Imagine the speeding ticket for that one! I thought this was a bit beyond the report your opinion of Maps so thought I would drop it here instead.

You should drive safely, @PaulPavlinovich :flushed:

Do you mean that, instead to close the POI, and to open a new one on the new location, the business simply moved the Pin 1700 km away?

That’s crazy, but is shows indeed that the history is related to POIs, when available

Yes the business moved the place by changing the address which they’re allowed to do, it is fundamentally the same business @ErmesT just in a different place.
