Integrate Google Guide History into Blog or Website

Hello,

I’m not sure if this is the correct place to ask a question but here goes, I am a Level 7 Guide with over 25 million views and would like to know if I can incorporate my guide history into my website or blog. I’m not sure if it is allowed, is a common question, or is just crazy, but with so many images uploaded, reviews, etc., I would love to be able to have my history posted to my blog or website somehow — maybe with a widget or something. It is no big deal if it isn’t allowed or possible, but I would like my web traffic to see what I post or review displayed on my webpage. My site is a WordPress Elementor site.

Thanks for any advice!

@Digmar2019 You can definitely incorporate your Local Guides statistics into your website or blog. There’s nothing wrong with that. For my understanding is Local Guides related API aren’t available for public, so I’m not sure how to easily incorporate that as addons/widget, but if you manage to get it to work, I’m definitely interested to learn how you do it (without updating the data manually from time to time).

Hi @Digmar2019

Great question.

You can always link to your contributions using these links:

Reviews:

You could show these in an Iframe on your site also. But I’m unsure if Google did something to prevent you from doing so. Please try and let us know how it goes.

I’m not aware of any widgets or WordPress plug-ins for this.

There are plug-ins for businesses that would like to share their reviews on a website.

Cheers

Morten

Thanks for the advice. I’m going to play around with it and see if there is a workable solution or see if I can find a widget builder. Thanks, I’ll repost if I can figure out a way.

Oi, @Digmar2019
