Inspired by food & RJ1: Black Owned Businesses of #Seattle

My list of Black Owned Businesses of Seattle. Spoiler Alert: almost all food.

When I perusedthe list from @RJ1 's post - full of Black Owned Businesses from Chicago I was intrigued. After I reviewed the list in depth… I was hungry, and maybe even a little jealous. But… With a bit of digging, I was able to unearth a good number of Black Owned Businesses in my own area - Seattle.

As a woman of color (I am Latinx), my support of racial equality should come as no surprise to anyone. As a human who loves delicious food - it’s just plain common sense.

And so, I present for your review, drooling, and consumption when in the Seattle Area, my list of Black Owned Businesses of Seattle. Please consider patronizing any of the businesses on this list during The Great American Takeout Event Thursday, June 11, 2020 (and every other day of the year, too).

I will be the first to admit my list is almost entirely comprised of places to eat, and this is not representative of Black owned Businesses. It is purely a reflection of my own love of tasty food.

Great list! And I’m equally excited about eating after looking at your list.
