Inner Celebration

Special thanks to Google on this day because google is my digital Guru.

With the uncertain future of the coronavirus pandemic and a deep desire to support and protect our community, Board and management had taken the challenging decision to cancel the today’s Guru Purnima’s festival at the Temples, Ashrams and Samadhi temples.

Guru Purnima fair has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The devotees are worshiping gurus through digital medium. There will be no events in the temples.

In India Krishna Dvaipayana or Vedavyasa’s birthday is celebrated as Guru Purnima, on Shukla Purnima day in the month of Ashadha (as per Hindu calendar).

The full moon day in the month of Ashadha is known as Guru Purnima. It is called Vyasa Purnima also.

Guru Purnima is a festival traditionally celebrated by Hindus.

On this day, disciples offer puja or pay respect to their Gurus.

It is celebrated across the country for honouring the Gurus and teachers who have taught us the Vidya.

Guru Stotram (Shri GuruGita)

Today I received a photo from a friend. Yesterday, on the occasion of Guru Purnima, his Guru specially came to his house for blessings.
