Dear @Mukul_Anand

Local guides are not allowed to use Google’s logo unless they have written permission. So I would suggest you refrain from doing this.

Please read more here:

https://maps.google.com/localguides/rules

“The Local Guides logo is a Google brand identity and is reserved for official use only. Do not use the Local Guides logo, pin, or any other Google imagery in any of your online or offline materials without expressed written permission.”

Best regards,

Hello @Mukul_Anand

You got replies relevant to your post, as it is not clear. You’ve to be more specific in order to get proper response.

If it is about Indian flag then there are tons of post here in the connect.

Good day.

OK, got it @Mukul_Anand

I think they would be having a more liberal policy for using the logo in public places like in an article.

I’d suggest checking their website for this or enquiring with the authorities since most likely Google will not have an objection to it.

A possibility could be using images that we don’t have the copyright to.

Those are also not allowed on Connect.

Can you share the link to the webpage that displays the logo?

As a workaround, I’d suggest you find a public place in Delhi that displays this logo clearly and take a photo of that place.

The photo will belong to you and you can definitely use it in your post on Connect.

@Mukul_Anand Avoid using any image from the internet in your post.

The government of India will be definitely impressed if you write a post creating awareness about the Accessible India Campaign on Connect :+1:

Don’t forget to tag me when you write such a post. I will participate too
