In this new world we’re all learning to adjust in, information is a highly valued commodity and several service providers will are right on the ethical line in how they gather this information. This information isn’t even just demographic anymore, it’s what you eat, what you buy, what you think about.
This has created barriers in the minds of people! They are scared, they’re not sure they want this info out there!
I am scared to, but I’ve seen application of this information! Applications that have made my life in Lagos so easy! I know where there’s traffic, thanks to reviews on Google I know if I’m about to pay too much. My anxiety in leaving my house is so much less these days…
But is this information worth the lack of privacy that I’m facing… I’m not sure…
