Indulging in philantropic endeavors in my own way.

In my country; Ghana, one’s surname plays a big part in who one becomes, and how one is addressed. The concept popularly known as “who-you-know” syndrome has hindered the capabilities and initiative of many people.

Coming from a working class family, I grew up enduring most of the ordeals associated with not having an influential surname.

I resolved at an early age, to become a philantropist when I make headway in life.

As a local guide, I have the opportunity to showcase the little things evrybody seems to overlook for the whole world to see.

My focus is on the small places and small start-ups that can not pay to be featured on websites or blogs. Adding such places to the maps gives me joy. I write reviews and add pictures of such places on Google maps to help them get the exposure they need.

My goal is to help many such businesses gain exposure by at least, appearing in Google searches since they have been added on Google maps.

My target for the subsequent years is to create lists where most of these start-ups that are performing well can feature and give the “big guns” a run for their money.

Doing this as a local guide helps me to feel fulfilled, though I intend to be a real philantropist by donating generously to good causes at some point in my life.

I am happy to be part of this platform and to have the opportunity to redefine philantropy and to help a lot of people find their way around.

I will entreat all local guides to join me as we redefine philantropy, by at least adding or reviewing one start-up or small scale business in their respective communities. I believe that together, we can achieve a lot, and make our world better.

Cheers!
