Not long ago, i travelling on west sumatera on my holiday. that was a unforgettable moments on my life. it was amazing trip to say least.
I went on vacation with my family by car. I am from my hometown of northern Sumatra by road. to get there it takes 2 days to travel because we are not too hasty. spent 4 days exploring western Sumatra then going home. we spend about a week on vacation and that is amazing. we traveled all using google maps. even though sometimes we pass through a forest that is difficult to signal but google maps can be relied upon because this application is great as a guide. I was also helped by some of the reviews on the Google map so I could know what was in the tourist area.
Recently, I was in Malang, East Java because I was studying here. while I am here I try to explore some famous tourist attractions. one of them is Mount Bromo. to get to Mount Bromo, there are roads that are not mapped on the Google map so that we have to ask directions to the residents there. but nowadays there are many travel tours that can take us there easily and comfortably. after arriving there all tiredness paid off with a truly extraordinary natural scenery. we can see Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru. we can see the wide view from the top of the pananjakan which we will definitely pass before going to mount bromo.
im so passionate to explore the world, to see the world in many views and capturing that this world has to offer. there is still only a few indonesian local guide, so there is not enough review in google maps. im wondering if google maps growing up like social media where everyone connected and sharing their thoughts of what they see. i mean not too much indonesian people care about google maps, many just using it to be a guide and not giving a feedback for the community. imagine if everyone giving their opinion about the place they visit. it will be awesome.
