Indian Unity against CORONA (COVID-19)

Hi Everyone,

Today I am going to share some awesome images from India.

As the entire world is fighting against the CORONA Virus in its convenient ways, India is fighting using lockdown and social distancing.

It was the 12th day of Lockdown in India, As few people may get depressed and may lose the patience and patience is the most required nowadays to fight against this pandemic.

So Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi came up with an idea #9pm9minutes.

According to it, people will switch off the light of their home on April 5, 9 pm and will stand near to their window, roof & the balcony & will light by using Diyas(shown below), Mobile Torch, Torch, Candle as per their choice and will spread the positivity and motivation among all for 9 minutes.

The event was extremely successful and millions of people came to their roof, window & on the balcony with a torch, Diyas, mobile, etc & succeded in the mission of spreading the belief in themselves and other that we are not alone, we all are together and we will win the fight against CORONA.

During the Lockdown, it is hard to see the other people, that can make us feel like we are alone

but when this happened everyone got motivated and feels that we are not alone.

See how I celebrated this event.

Diya

This is Diya (in the Hindi Language), made up of soil mostly used in the Diwali Festival.

. . . Candles

We also used candles to glow the light, see this beautiful image

Let me also share you the video captured by my Mom,

Here in the video, people were also creating sound by playing various instruments such as Shank(an Indian instrument) and whatever the got.

Swastik

This is the Image of Indian Holy Sign “Swastik”.

This time made by using Diyas.

. . . The Balcony

See, how was our balcony on this day.

Highlights of Local Story

Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Sharing Thoughts in Mann Ki Baat 29th March 2020

The Prime Minister said he feels sorry for the hardships being faced by all, especially the poor owing to the lockdown. He empathized with the people and said in order to battle Corona in a country of 130 crore people such as India, there was no other option.

Fight against Corona is a fight between life and death; we have to win in this battle

Our nurses, doctors, para-medical staff are our front-line soldiers

We have an adage-“ Evam Evam Vikar, api tarunha Saadhyate Sukham”… which means, an illness and its scourge should be nipped in the bud itself.

We are familiar with our adage “Aarogyam Param Bhagyam, Swasthyam Sarwaarth Sadhanam” -which means good health is the greatest fortune.

Today when I witness the sacrifice, perseverance and dedication on part of doctors, I am reminded of the touching words of Acharya Charak while referring to doctors. And it is so visible in Doctor’s lives today! Acharya Charak had said…

Na Aatmarthan Na Api Kaamartham Atbhoot Dayam Prati

Vartate yat Chikitsaym Sa Savarma Iti Vartate

Which means: The one who strives for his patient’s well being in the spirit of service and compassion, with no desire, monetary or otherwise, is the greatest Doctor.

Our great PM, Mr. Narendra Modi gives the video massage to all the people of india on 3rd of April.

It had the some Q&A, which represents our feelings like, why should I follow this lockdown? As a single person how should I fight against this virus? And so on.

In order to show the unity in the 130 Cr Indian people and to increase the confidence our self, he given one activity to the people that, on 5th of April at 9 pm, every people should switch off your lights, come to the balcony and lighten the lamp or flash light for 9 minutes and see the how many people are with you…!

And the same is successfully celebrated by the people. Personally for me this really gives the positive vibes. And we pray for the good. The above picture captured at the same time.

sarve jana sukhino bhavanthu means every people should stay safe.
