In a commendable move by the railway authorities, a fitness initiative unfolded early this morning at 6:50 AM (11/Aug/2023). The Hatia to Islampur train (18624), en route to its destination, came to an unexpected halt just outside the bustling Patna junction. With the station a mere 1 kilometer away, passengers found themselves presented with a unique opportunity for an impromptu morning walk, as they were required to traverse the railway track on foot. The brisk walk served as an unexpected exercise session, as commuters made their way along the tracks, knowing they had a train to catch at Patna junction by 7:20 AM. Upon reaching their destination on foot, however, a twist of irony awaited them: the Hatia to Islampur train was yet to make its appearance. Despite the initial inconvenience, the incident highlighted both the dedication of passengers to reach their destinations and the unpredictability that can sometimes accompany travel.

Arriving late for a train and the train you want to catch should arrive on time is a very bad experience. Well done you walked and reached the platform. Coincidentally your train was late.
@Soyab_Ansari I am surprised the railway allowed people to walk down the track, that is certainly not safe particularly down the center. If you find yourself on a position where you must walk on track, walk to the sides and prepare to get clear at any time.
