Very peaceful place hidden within coconut trees in the fort area of Belgaum, Karnataka.
Looking at it gives a feel asif we are in Kerala…
Built @user_not_found years ago…Artistic carvings and polished pillars with the perfectly fine-carved lotus on the ceiling of the temple. Somewhat resembles the Dilwara temples at Mt.Abu, Rajasthan.
A picture perfect serene place that gives a soothing and calm feel.
Very close to bus stand and in fact the very first scenic location on entering Belgaum via Pune -Banglore highway.
A ‘must’ visit place in Belgaum.Another temple next to it stands ‘closed’ as it is badly ruined. But the sculptures beautifully carved speak about the ‘richness’ of the Indian heritage.
