Hello @Md_Wasim_Akram ,

Nice to meet you! I’m glad to see you already received assistance from @NareshDarji . Since he provided an answer to your need, I marked his reply as a solution so it can be beneficial for other members with the same question. You can read more about the topic in the following post: How do I mark comments as solutions?

To know more about the forum, I also suggest Your guide to Connect, there you can read helpful information. :slightly_smiling_face:

@NareshDarji I asked for Indian flag not local guide logo

What are you saying to copy paste for logo please write that after leaving one line so that others can understand that easily you mereged everything…

Please correct it…

@Giu_DiB But that’s not what I asked please read it once more what I asked what he answered… This is not the solution for that so I’m removing it from the solution hope you understand me in this regards…

Hello @Md_Wasim_Akram ,

You are right and I apologize for the misunderstanding. I believe you can find helpful results using the search tool on Connect, for instance I have found an answer in this post. I am sure you can also find some results with a simple Google search.

The question is interesting, @Md_Wasim_Akram , because it is not clear:

What do you mean with “Can anyone provide me the HTML of Indian flag”? The question itself have a lot of different meaning, but the most common is “can someone provide me the HTML code to insert in my signature to have the Indian flag in there?

Consequently, @NareshDarji provided you the code, and the same did @Giu_DiB . The only difference is that the first answer addressed you to a flag that is uploaded already in Connect by Naresh, while the second one is addressing to an online content: Personally, I would not use these suggestions, because, in the first case, if Naresh delete the his flag, the flag will disappear from your signature too. The second case is similar, because depends of an online content that may change.

Searching online, As suggested by Giuseppe, you will easily find a freeware Indian flag, so you can build your signature by yourself.

A simple trick is:

  • Build the signature by creating a post, with the text and your flag in there.
  • Instead of posting, click on the HTML icons, to open the HTML editor box
  • Copy the HTML code from the box and paste it in “your signature” on the setting page and save it. As you have already a signature, you know how to reach the setting page.
  • Go back to the “fake post” and click on “Cancel”, to avoid posting a useless post.

In this way you can easily build by yourself a simple custom signature, without the need of any external code creation

@ErmesT ok I understand some grammatical mistakes is there in the question but now why you are focusing on it everyone understood the question and I don’t think anyone would have problem to understand it… you could tell me this in good words too like this sentence is wrong edit this or anything but instead of it you are telling it’s interesting and all…

And let me tell you firstly Naresh added the local guide logo HTML now he edited with flag after my revert…

Even I understand some cons would arise like if Naresh deletes his flag it will disappear from my signature too…but I don’t think if he would create a new one then it would create that problem…

Ok I’ll try my own actually I already tried but I was unable to find the html option there so I asked here…

[In this also grammatical mistakes can be there but I think it’s understandable/manageable]

Dear @Md_Wasim_Akram

There is not a issue with grammar, and in my post I also explained that I correctly understood what now you say is exactly the meaning of the sentence.

The main scope of my reply is to give you the opportunity to grow, by using the tools Connect make available for everyone of us.

In this way, instead of using something standard made by someone else, you will be able to make your own personal signature, and to modify it, if needed.

To be original is one of our Core values.

That’s what I am showing you.

Again, as I said already, once you have the information, the way you choose to use them is up to you, so feel free to proceed in the way you like.

Have a fun

@ErmesT Yeah I understand that you are here to help us as we are new in this local guide connect but you words sound like something else to me.

So I disrupted you for it hope you understand me.

I’m editing the question now with what you mentioned previously…

And anyway thank you for your help

Dear @Md_Wasim_Akram

From what I have read in this conversation, @ErmesT has not pointed to any grammatical mistake in your question.

In fact, he went out of his way to rephrase your question and wrote it in a format that would make it easy for anyone to understand.

Just extend a little ‘thank you’ to his friendly gesture.

Ermest has in fact provided a fool-proof technique to include an image in the signature. I especially like extracting the HTML from the post itself - very clever use of existing facilities.

I would suggest you simply create a little tricolor :india: in Paint Brush and upload it in your post, so there will be no need to link to a copyright-free image online.

Let me know if you need a video, I will be glad to make one for you to accomplish this

@TusharSuradkar If you can make the video it would help me better  but as I checked the HTML option is not there in my android device so I’m unable to do that from my side is the HTML option available in an android or just available in the desktop?

Can you check and help me…

If available in an android phone you can share the screenshot from where I can see that or make the video if you can…

You could be right @Md_Wasim_Akram about the HTML option on Android,

I almost never use Android for Connect posts.

To overcome this problem, open the Chrome browser in Android, and from the settings change to Desktop Site.

I guess after that you will be able to get the HTML code.

I am checking this on my Android and will update you.

@TusharSuradkar I checked that but there too I couldn’t… ok you also please update me by checking it so that I can get satisfied  or else I’ll be thinking in my account problem is there…

@Md_Wasim_Akram

There is an emoji showing your flag:

:india:

Why don’t you just use that one? It is super easy to insert on a Mobile device.

Cheers

Morten

@MortenCopenhagen Yes I can do that but I’m asking it if available then I should know that so sometimes I can use that too :grimacing:

Hope you understand me…

@Md_Wasim_Akram

I think the emoji solution will be a lot easier than messing with html.

All the best

Morten

@Md_Wasim_Akram

Many special characters can be found as Alt ascii codes. Please check https://altcodeunicode.com/

But I doubt it will be as uniform and universal as the emojis.

Morten

Yes @MortenCopenhagen but let’s see what @TusharSuradkar update me for that then we would close that issue discussion.
