Good Morning to all Googlers and all my fellow local guides around the world. Today i am going to introduce some colourful wallpapers which is made with different types of threads, these wallpapers are quite popular in every Indian houses even the visitors from different countries purchase it for the decoration of houses.
These wallpapers are totally handmade and we can see the finest creation (same as machines), people made such kind of wallpapers in their homes and then sell in different exhibitions.
The above picture is related to a scenery in which homes, fountains, trees, sky with birds are made. The wallpaper has huge importance in Indian markets and due to manual work it’s cost around 1500 to 2000 INR or even more.
These are beautiful wallpapers. It’s not that popular in Hungary anymore, but in old houses they still have mostly in the kitchen and next to the bed. In the kitchen they always have something with traditional motifs and a funny poem on it.
Much appreciated for letting us see an interesting part of your culture! : ]
I am amazed how the details and features are really clear, as well as a good composition.
In Viet Nam, the counterpart would be the tranh thêu tay, as it would literally mean handmade embroidery.
Unfortunately I have not taken any photos so that could be used as examples, perhaps in my next visit back home, I will be looking for those specific work of arts.

As usual Expressive & this time extremely colorful PHOTOS.
As a photographer, I appreciate your talent in framing the shots; as rightly mentioned (in one of his posts) by our @BunnyAyush , these ‘Freezes’ have life in them…
Having seen many such (similar) creations in different parts of the globe, I have seen very special ones in Bhubaneswar and Mysore!
I also feel the talents of the artisans (may be gained in the past many generations) & appreciate them; Also, I pray that the new generation youngsters should imbibe & retain these great collection of heritage & culture, (as rightly told by our @sonnyNg ).
Thank you for tagging me and sharing these beautiful pieces of art with us.
I remember in Bulgaria when I was a child that we had some handmade wallpapers, but they didn’t look like these ones. They were beautiful too, but without the relief which is present on the ones that you’ve shared.
Nowadays, society is in a rush and few are the people who still do such things, they are mostly done by machines.
