Let’s see how enthusiastic you are about adding information on the availability of dustbins/waste disposal in your reviews!

All Local Guides around the world are welcome to participate in this #FindDustbinNearYou challenge!

How Local Guides like you will participate?-

It is very easy to participate and be a part of it.

Now, there are two parts to this challenge-

1. We will know about the availability of dustbins in public places in India.
2. We will find dustbins near our location.

One Local Guide can be a part of any one or both the parts (mentioned as point 1 and 2) of the challenge. Now each part has separate points (It is your choice, if you want to gain more points and participate in both parts of the challenge)

From the next Monday to Friday you have to collect information about waste disposal/availability of waste bins in public places in India. Now you have to share in the comment section as mentioned below.

How to submit in the comment section? -

1st Part-

• Link of one article about information of the disposal/availability of waste bins in India (find one article about information of the disposal/availability of waste bins in public places in India and share in the comment section)

[Please do not share direct URL/website address, insert a link in some words, and then share with us in the comment. For example, you can write Click here, and insert the link of the URL/website on here, If you share a direct URL/Website link, your points will not be considered].

Sharing articles will help other local guides to gather information about what you have found out! Point- 20

2nd Part-

• Share a screenshot of your review with a google maps link of some of the places near you where you have mentioned about availability of dustbins (A maximum of 3 places will be considered). Point- 10 each review (So you can get a maximum of 30 points from here!)
• Share a selfie/photo of you, while using the dustbin near your location, and share the google map location of that place (Point-50, highest point because you are using the dustbin and also encouraging others to do so!)

(Last day of submitting the answer via comment- 2nd October (Saturday), 2021)

Hi @PritishB

As part of the challenge here is my first photo of the multi-purpose dustbin and several such are installed all over Pune.

The dustbin has clear compartments for dry and wet waste.

Dry Waste is nicely labeled with pictures - thermocol, plastic and paper cups, aluminum cans and containers, pet bottles, wrapper, and pouches, paper waste, empty liquid cartons,

Wet Waste has pictures of fast food, fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

This is near a shop called Mittal Copiers that I visited today and here’s my review of the place.
