The Independence memorial hall was built to celebrate Sri Lanka’s independence from Britain on the 4th of February 1948.

Thank you @BorrisS . The Camera used is a Sony HX 1. This is not the 1st time I’ve been to this place been here many times.

Being from India I feel very connected to #SriLanka. Described very well, This place looks so marvelous and the symmetry you captured is amazing.These old stone structures are still keeping their glory and not damaged.
