Incredible India - 7, Ramappa Temple ( Telangana India )

Ramappa Temple is one of the finest temples and architectures in India. The temple is very famous for its great architecture. The temple is situated at Palampeta, Mulugu District in Telangana India.

The temple is constructed in a peaceful place.

This temple is a Shivalay. Chief deity is Rama Lingeswara Swamy.

The temple is named after the chief architect Ramappa. This is the one and only temple in India which is dedicated for Architect.

This temple has two entrances which have huge steps.

The temple is consist of two Lingas. One Linga is in side the temple and another one is in outside. Many devotees come and offer prayers to these Lingas.

These are the other Mandapas in the temple premises which are beautifully designed with advance technology in those days.

In every inch of the sculptures we can enjoy the beauty of the great architecture. Thousands of tiny details are included in all the sculptures.

The above picture is an example for one of the wonderful craftsmanship of Kakatiya Kingdom architects.

Safety : Absolutely safe .

Transport facilities : Own vehicle is good. State transportation, private vehicles also available.

Food : Own food is good

Nearby places to visit : Ramappa Lake, Ganapathi Lake, Laknavaram Lake, Bogatha Waterfalls, Medaaram Jaathara.

Indeed, it’s just outstanding and also my favourite. Sculptures on granite and ceiling above the dance floor with mythological stories, krishna’s flute at doorjamb at the entrance of main sanctum, fashionable Ragini and Nagini in the form stone overhangs support, platform with elephants and Pheron images including the Shiva’s ride Nandi, overall my journey was amazing. Thank you very much as because of this post I could recollect all the memories.
