Pune city is also known as Oxford of the east since it has highest number of colleges and universities.
I feel lucky to be born and bought up in Pune and to have travelled approx 70% states of India since childhood.
Along with diversity in geography, history, culture, language, cuisines also change with place.
Since I love to try local food, it’s an great opportunity since there is vast diversity in cuisines and the way it’s prepared.
In Pune, since people from almost everywhere in India are present, some have permanently settled, different types of restaurants are available here very easily. Some diverse food dishes available here -
- Idly
- Momos
- Mial Pav
- Pav Bhaji
- Thalipith
- Biryani
- Paratha
- Chinese Noodles
- Pizza
- Pasta
- Cakes
- Mithai & the list is never ending. Since past 2 years, I have tried to photograph the food dishes and share them along with a google review.
So, if you wish to try different cuisines available across India at a single city, Pune should be your destination.
