How to delete or change the name of below place on Google map? This place name is incorrectly added by someone on maps. From many years I have been trying to Correct the name. But my edit is not getting approved by Google map.
Incorrect name: Chandrapada
Correct name: Umelman Village

I should start by officially welcoming you to local guides connect forum. Quite pleased you have come to the right place.
Regarding your question,I have looked at the link and it has all the hallmarks of a layer of edit that is beyond the scope of a local guide. Towns,villages etc can’t be edited by local guides, The Google maps team can help on that if you escalate it by reporting an error on the maps,through the send feedback. You will find that out when you scroll down the menu on the maps.

Another way to solve that issue is to send the link to Google Maps community, . You can get help through this provided you have all your documents to Back it up.
