A rainy day in Jasper National Park but I still went for a bike along the trail to Lake Annette. The woods is beautifully covered with yellow moss. The Sandy bank of Lake Annette is perfect for soaking in the summer sunshine. Lake Annette is kind of a “Mountain Beach” and also referred to as the “Kettle Lake” and glacially-fed. It is very close to Jasper Town.
There is a spacious grassy park with tables and benches and barbecue area for day use around the lake that visitors can enjoy. The beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and the green waters of the lake is surely spectacular.
