"In the Beauty of the Koalas"

A must visit in the Gold Coast,Queensland,Australia is the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. It is smaller than the Australia zoo but it has beautiful animals and lots of activities for families to enjoy. There is a train that goes around the park station by station. I specially like the bird sanctuary, koala nursery, the kangaroos and wallabies.

You have beautiful pictures for days!

If I may ask @user_not_found , what kind of camera do you use?

How is it possible that you can still go on these tours? :see_no_evil: No lockdown?

@Ewaade_3A these are my travels before the restrictions that I just got the chance to be sorting from my drives and clouds. For the nicest photos, it could be my Nikkon, iPhone 7 plus or google pixel… for the nicer ones, would be my Sony small digicam, for the pixelated and blurry ones, could be just random photos with my spare J3.

@Ewaade_3A the best way to do it is to upload all your photos in the Google Photos. You get a free 15GB storage, but since I have thousands of photos, I purchased a 200GB storage. It saves a lot of time sorting, because google photos with categorize them. You can just type keywords and photos related to your keyword will show up. Have you tried using google photos yet?

@OliverKIWI it is a beautiful Sanctuary… And everytime I am in Au, I never miss going to the Sanctuary… I also love feeding the lorikeets.

Yes, the birds are lovely - colourful and not afraid of human. @user_not_found

@OliverKIWI I was there in January and I felt sad for the visitors who came all the way to experience feeding the Lorikeets but the Lorees were spooked by the 2 Ibis lurking around and never came down for feeding.

The people raising the feeding plates hoping for the birds to come down. But then after an hour and a half… the people left and I stayed waiting patiently.

Alone with my feeding plates…

And…tadaaaa… patience is a virtue after all… hahaha… I enjoyed the Lorees by myself… they eventually came down because the 2 Ibis lurking lost their patience too and flew away so, nothing spooked the Lorikeets anymore…

Well… that’s my red chair story…
