Dear Local Guides Community,
As we reflect on the sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters on the 168th Anniversary of the first war of Indian independence, also known as 1857 Uprising / Sepoy Mutiny, it gives me immense pleasure to share my first meet-up on the connect platform.
History : The Indian rebellion of 1857 was a major Uprising in India against the British East India company. What began as a mutiny of Sepoys quickly turned into a nationwide protest against the British rule.
