Planned Activities
1. Meet & Greet We’ll begin at Citi Center, our designated meeting point. This is a great opportunity for all participants to introduce themselves and share their experiences as Local Guides.
2. Walk Around Centre Point , Aligarh We’ll explore the vibrant area around Center Point—visiting local shops, popular eateries, bookstores, and handicraft stalls that showcase the local culture.
3. Contributing to Google Maps As Local Guides, we’ll work together to:

Add businesses that are not yet listed

Update important details like business hours, addresses, and photos

Write genuine, helpful reviews to support the local community
4. Interacting with Local Business Owners We’ll spend time speaking with local shop owners to hear about their journeys, challenges, and successes—building a deeper connection with the neighborhood.
5. Group Photo & Experience Sharing To conclude, we’ll gather for a group photo followed by a short reflection session, where everyone is welcome to share their thoughts and key takeaways from the day.

No worries! I haven’t planned a virtual meet-up since it’s tough to travel while on Google Meet. I totally understand—it’s summer, so make sure to take care of yourself. We’ll definitely meet everyone at the mega meet-up in Delhi!

Congratulations on hosting this meetup, dear @MadhurG 
You can take the help of a virtual co-host who can handle the Google Meet portion and entertain local guides who join virtually.
You can then simply join the virtual meeting for 10 minutes and show around.
Anyway, we can try this idea the next time.

Sir, I’ve got my friend to join the Connect app through the “Each One Reach One” challenge by @K.K.Sharma .He’s now on Level 4 and contributing on Google maps also he will join me at the meetup. He’s also helping me with map editing. But I still need help connecting with more LGs from Aligarh. Can you please guide me on how to reach out to them?

@MadhurG, try searching for posts related to Aligarh on Connect. If you find any, send a private message to the Local Guide who posted it—chances are, they might be from your city. When I organized a meet-up in Kanpur in 2023, I followed the same approach and connected with a few local guides. That really helped make the event a success!
