Meetup Details
Meetup Name: New Year, New Connections
Date: 12th Jan 2025
Time: 12:00 PM – 15:30 PM
Location: Akshardham Metro Station
Agenda 1. Welcome and Icebreaker Session (30 Minutes)
Help participants relax and introduce themselves.
Activity:
Use a “Two Truths and a Lie” game or a quick “Introduce Your Favorite Local Spot” round.
2. Introduction to the Meetup (15 Minutes)
Welcome speech, Brief overview of the Google Local Guide program.
Highlight the importance of community building in the new year.
3. Brainstorming Session (45 Minutes)
We will divide participants into small groups.
Provide sticky notes and markers for ideas on the following:
Community improvement initiatives. New spots to highlight and review in the city.
Social causes to support through monthly meetups.
4. Networking Brunch (1 Hour)
We will move to near by food court and will have refreshments, snacks, and beverages.
5. Planning for the Year Ahead (30 Minutes)
Present top ideas from the brainstorming session.
Vote on themes or projects for the upcoming monthly meetups.
Assign volunteer roles for upcoming events
6. Closing Remarks and Group Photo (15 Minutes)
will take group photo to commemorate the event.
