Hi everyone,
I’m happy to announce Accessible Delhi Metro 2.0 – Noida Edition, the seventh meetup in my Accessible Metro Series and the next chapter in my ongoing journey of looking at public spaces through the lens of accessibility.
Over the years, this series has taken me across different metro systems and cities, with every meetup bringing a different perspective on how accessibility works on the ground. This time, we’re heading back to the Delhi-NCR region, but with a new focus — Noida.
And this meetup is going to be a little special.
Many of us will already be in Noida for the Namaste India Local Guides Summit, so I thought, why not continue the conversations after the summit and explore a metro station together?
Meeting Point: Noida City Centre Metro Station, Uttar Pradesh
Date: August 15, 2026
Time: 7:00 PM
As with the previous meetups, there won’t be anything too formal. We’ll simply walk around the station and observe things from an accessibility perspective — entry and exit points, lifts, ramps, tactile paths, ticketing areas, signage, accessible facilities, and anything else we notice along the way.
For me, that’s what makes these meetups interesting. We aren’t just looking at what is available on paper; we’re actually experiencing the space, discussing what works, and noticing what could be better.
After six meetups across different locations, I’m really looking forward to seeing what Noida has to tell us.
