There is no alternative to planting trees when it comes to protecting our environment, reducing the impact of climate change, and keeping our planet cooler. However, the number of trees we are planting is still far below what is needed.
Although the monsoon season has just ended in Bangladesh, we are still experiencing regular rainfall. So, this is a great time to come together and plant trees in places where they are truly needed.
With this goal in mind, Bangladesh Local Guides is organizing a Tree Plantation & Climate Change Awareness Meetup in Mymensingh.
Our Agenda :
• Plant fruit, forest, and medicinal trees in unused and open spaces
• Talk about climate change and its impact on our environment
• Discuss how we can contribute to protecting nature in our everyday lives
• Work together to make our local community greener and more sustainable
