Hi my name is Jorge (Jota) and my favorite animal is the fox, but also the hummingbird and the elephant**.**
What is the most interesting thing you’ve done as a Local Guide?
Today I am present, like many other days in which I have been a Local Guide. Why?
Oh! It is that sometimes we go through life so fast that we forget to enjoy the little details (those that make us fall in love with the world). However as a Local Guide, I have had to stop to look at a landscape understanding its colors and its power, to perceive an aroma and to taste a plate of food. I really love that because it makes me more sensitive and more observant. So, the most interesting thing I have done as a Local Guide is to enjoy the places I go and keep a memory of them on my cell phone and on my skin.
A memory: Japan
Visiting the empire of the sun has been one of the best experiences because it is an extraordinary place that makes me smile. Japan is a country of light and shadow, a chiaroscuro game produced by the juxtaposition of elements that generate feelings of fascination, wonder, bewilderment and pleasure. Japan combines austere and transitory beauty in its aesthetics with the beauty of natural patina and aging. That’s magic!
