EDIT: Label changed to How Tos on Nov. 30, because I am realizing that other people is having the same issue.
As I said already on "“The Eagle has landed” - The moon on your stories " I started getting bored very early on taking pictures “of the moon”, while I find it extremely interesting to take pictures “with the moon” as part of the image.
Last Saturday it was a full moon, although I’ve stopped noticing by now. However …
I left the mall at 6:35 pm, loaded the shopping into the car, brought the trolley back, and looked up: the moon was there, perfectly round and bright. The location was perfect for a photo “with the moon” so … why not?
By pure chance I had the camera with me. I never take it with me when I go shopping, but in the afternoon I went to the park near my house for some autumn photos. From the park I had gone straight to the mall, so the camera was still in the car.
A couple of test shots, and then a couple of good ones. I liked them and uploaded them to Google Maps, directly in the business listing of the mall .
The name of the Mall is Tiziano (Titian, the famous Italian painter) and the logo is used in place of the final “O”, which is why I decided to upload the photo on Google Maps. I uploaded also another photo, more conventional.
The funny part is that … even if both photos are publicly visible on my profile, and correctly linked to the POI, I can’t see them on the “By you” tab, nor on the “Latest” tab.
I am not complaining, and I know that the photo seems to be a photomontage (even if it is not). I am tagging @Jesi here (she knows why)
I’m just curious if you have a similar experience to share and if you have any idea why this happened. In my case, I believe that’s because the two photos look like photomontages.
What about yours?
