Improving Maps for Galle

This event is a continuation of the “Knowledge sharing sessions for Local Guides in Sri Lanka 2017”. After the last knowledge sharing session at the Galle, there is a request to for another meetup at Galle. This session is going to introduce the Google Mapping, the Local Guides program, and how to use Google My Maps to help others. At the end of the session, participants will start to contribute to the Google My Maps for the Tourist Attractions in Galle Fort, and this map will be publishing online after few days. This session is open to everyone. Due to the limited space at the venue, only 25 participants will be allowed to participate. The participants will be selected on “first come first serve” basis. This meet-up will be at Maritime Archeology Unit (In front of Hall de Galle).
